Jason Rayner is an animator living and working in San Francisco, CA. After growing up in Harrisburg PA, he attended Savannah College of Art and Design where he created his animated short film “My Big Brother.” The short won the Annie Award for Best Student Film in 2014, and was featured as a top 9 Finalist on CartoonBrew’s student festival that same year. Since then the short has been shown in over 30 festivals and kid’s programs around the world, such as Annecy, TIFF, and the New York Children’s International Film Festival. After college Jason began his career as a freelance animator in San Francisco, working on a variety of projects including animating music videos, web series, and interactive VR shorts. He is currently working at TinyCo, animating superheroes for their mobile game “Marvel Avengers Academy.”
